In all the years since “sustainability” is hyped (perhaps since 1973 “The Limits of growth, Club of Rome?) one thing never changed: “The capital must be served!” In other words: “I am willing to give you, but expect you to give me back more.” Mathematically that is an exponential function with a tendency towards infinite growth.

As long as we do not say Goodbye to this, real sustainabilty is a beautiful fairy tale without happy end.
