Obama EPAngry that Supreme Court won’t eat their greens
Obama came up disappointed this Tuesday when the Supreme Court put a halt to his climate change bill in a 5–4 vote. Though the Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA, Obama and others viewed this as a setback, many have been determined to halt this bill from becoming the law of the land, with more than two dozen states suing to stop the rules. Though the law seems an obvious improvement at first glance, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from existing power plants and push energy companies from fossil fuels to cleaner solar and air energy, estimates suggest that power bills of consumers could rise by more than 25 percent.
