The World is Your Oyster

Maryland has recently lost at least $1 million in federal funding, intended for new oysters reefs, to Virginia. This change, due to project delays in Maryland, now allows Virginia’s Norfolk District of the Army Corps to pay for restoration in this state. Though good for Virginia, this budget cut has to have Maryland feeling clammy.
