Inside Angry Boars — Week 50 Recap
Hello BoarFam!
What a week! So many amazing things happening in 7 days only. It leaves me speechless every time I´m writing the recap. The speed this project and community moves at is incomparable. So let´s dive right in.
Sunday Traffle
Most important part of every week is of course the Sunday Traffle. We just can’t get enough of GomezZ’ voice and I think we need to find more ways to leverage it. I’m thinking bed time stories for example… They will make us all sleep like babies ;)
But let’s get back to the Traffle. Our masterminds Nemecu and Skip were there as well and it’s always interesting listening to the two of them and getting their perspectives.
This time 10 x 0.1 ETH were raffled to Diamond Tusks Holders. One of the lucky winners was our active community member and diligent sweeper, Sandman! Congratz to all the lucky ones.
Monday Voice call with Blockchain Brown
I want to be honest here, we had a bit of a rough patch beginning of this week. It is always okay to voice concerns if it is done in the right manner and with the right intention. On Monday things went a bit south when concerns were voiced with the wrong intention and started a bit of a snowball effect. Main topic was a subjectively felt lack of information and marketing.
Blockchain Brown caught up on the discussions in general chat and called us into the Board Room, asking the question: “What’s the rush?”. A fair question to be asked, in my opinion. BB reminded us to zoom out and look at the bigger picture. For Angry Boars it is the following:
- we are only 3 months old, the first Boar got minted on September 15th
- in three months our devs created 3 (!!!) collections, a utility token, donated in total 5 ETH to 3 charities, raffled NFTs worth 6 figures to the community - all that while working on alpha channels, a merch store and most importantly a play2earn game
Isn’t that absolutely impressive and phenomenal? Can you think of any other project that has delivered in such a short amount of time while never missing a deadline? I can’t and I think we are pretty spoiled. I mean, hands down to our fabulous devs — these guys rock!
We, the community, have to get our act together and start to trust the process. Organic growth is the only thing sustainable in this space full of pump and dumps but it takes times and patience. If we keep up our great work on Social Media someone will find us. It’s inevitable. But we have to understand that negativity will hold us back. Only positivity will bring us forward. So let’s stay positive and confident! WAGMI!
Tuesday is $OINK Day!
Tuesday was the day some of our community members had been waiting for quite a while: the day our $OINK token would finally be claimable. And with that the start of our community run liquidity pool!
This is a massive step forward for our Angry Boars project since now you can buy and sell $OINK. I would like to take the opportunity to thank RichyB, TropicalSnow and TheMushroomGeneral for their hard work behind the scenes. They took up the challenge to create the pool and facilitate it. Amazing job, guys!

You can start contributing as of now. The starting price was set at 0.40 USD. There will be a short educational video coming soon, where you can learn how to add $Oink and ETH to the LP. We will also work on a Medium article for you in the coming days.

Everyone can contribute to the liquidity pool, no matter how big or small the amount is you want to put in. Please consider to only trade larger amounts of $OINK for ETH when only absolutely necessary. First we need to create a stable pool. It is in our community’s interest to help the LP succeed. A successful LP will not only help us in terms of earning passive income but it will also have a positive effect on the floor price of our meerkats and boars and will attract future buyers. Let’s do this together!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for: SYMBIOSIS
The wait was long, the anticipation high. With juicy sneakpeeks and the usual slightly mean teasing of GomezZ and Nemecu. On Wednesday, December 15, with our Angry Boars being exactly 3 months old, the long wait finally came to an end and the Symbiosis process was started.
How exciting were the hours before and after. The moment the minting went live the first unrevealed Symbiotes trickled into OpenSea. A lot of our community members spent the time together in the Board Room looking excitedly at the first reveals and discussing all the insane traits that could be discovered.
We knew the Symbiotes would be awesome but boy, “awesome” is a massive understatement. Our artist, Skipsq, has just outdone himself and surpassed any expectations we had. There is so much to discover in any single Symbiote. The traits are so creative that it is hard to decide, which trait is the best. I just can´t.
The announcement that came with the Symbiosis start was smashing as well. I want to take out a few important parts for you.

Twitter, Twitter, Twitter
This week has been incredibly successful for our presence on Twitter. Big shoutout to everyone in the community, who is out their raiding people´s tweets and making our Boars, Kats and Symbiotes visible in the NFT world.
Here are two examples of successful Twitter raids this weeks.
First one is a Tweet that challenged our community to get 200 retweets. Easy peasy… It didn´t take too much time and we even exceeded the goal. Now W0mbat is shopping for boars! Well done, BoarFam!
Second one is a Tweet the Angry Boars main account reacted on and caused a Boar raid on the 100k follower account of Pixelord. He changed his pfp to a Symbiote for 19 hours, which gave us great visibility!
Twitter is the cheapest marketing tool we have. It costs us nothing but 5 minutes a day. Keep up the great work everybody and let´s continue raiding the Twitter world. This is how we gain visibility and attract new people into our wonderful community and project!

Tattoo Madness continues
After our dear Alin got the very first Angry Boars tattoo, his wife Fiara
wouldn´t let much time pass to get the very first Angry Meerkats tattoo. Look at this beauty! A wonderful tribute to all the poor Meerkats that will never see the daylight… Raise your middle fingers!

Angry Stats
It’s been a great week for our Boars and Meerkats. Sales have been going up since Symbiosis mint. Here are our Angry Stats for you.
Let’s start with our sales volume for the Angry Boars on Opensea: 5.14 ETH or $29.3k have been traded in the last 7 days. This gives us a total volume of 718 ETH. In total, 154 Boars have been sold in the last week for an average price of 190 USD. At the moment of writing we have 3,408 Boar holders, each holding an average of 2.9 Boars. There are only 117 Boars to a 0.1 ETH floor and 1,042 total Boars for sale (10.5%).
The Meerkat stats are looking juicy as well. 161 Meerkats were traded in the last 7 days at an average price of 326 USD. That makes up for a 7 day volume of 11.09 ETH or $52.4k and a total of 70.6 ETH.
The highest sales was Meerkat #2599, which sold for a whooping 1.2 ETH. At the moment we have 2,102 Meerkat holders, each holding an average of 3.63 Kats. There is also only 48 Meerkats to a 0.1 ETH floor and only 380 total Meerkats for sale (4.9%).
The Symbiosis minting has started only 4 days ago. So far 9 Symbiotes have been sold at an average price of 359 USD. The total trading volume on Opensea is at 0.81 ETH and we have 264 holders.
Also, with 539 Symbiotes minted at the time of writing already 242,550 $OINK has been burnt! $OINK is currently worth $.39. A single Meerkat is making you $710 a year in $OINK right now.

It’s Christmas in five days and I’m not sure if I can create another recap this year since my whole family is here. But I promise, I will try my best ;)

If there is one thing that I learned since I’m part of the NFT space, it’s that projects without a strong community are destined to fail. They are destined to fail without any chance of recovery. Let that sink in for a moment. A project won’t succeed if there are a few things a community lacks of: A mutual goal in mind, a common way to reach this goal and most importantly: Unity. Unity not only in terms of acting as a collective, but also in terms of everybody playing its part to help other members and therefore the community in general to succeed.
A strong and united community is one of the key pillars to success. But why am I telling you all this? Because now is the time to create awareness about this. Now is the time to leverage on one of the most valuable traits this project has and improve upon it even further: a strong community. A solid group of core members who are willing to fight for this project until the bitter end. You know which members I talk about. I talk about those who sacrifice their free time to write articles about us, create art and media about us or let us be part of their knowledge by setting the framework for everything that’s happening within this project and beyond. But I also talk about the people who make our community what it is: a welcoming and good spirited place. You know who you are, people. Because of you all contributing to this project in your own way, our community is what it is now: strong and unshakable. The past has proven that. Nobody can deny that any longer.
But I’m not here to preach about the past but to prime us for the future. It is now more important than ever that we as a community work as a collective — that we share a mutual goal and a common way to reach this goal. It is now up to everyone of us to put any short-sighted “goals” aside and focus on what we can achieve in the long run together. Think about all the opportunities that will open up to us as soon as this happens. These are life changing opportunities. Opportunities which are hard to find again once gone. Start thinking long term and thank me later when you have finally achieved the financial freedom you always dreamt about. But until then, every one of us has to put in the work to make this happen. Because like with everything in life — you can’t expect success to come to you without putting in the effort and work necessary for it. That’s not how life works. Lets put in the work and make this happen together.
Furthermore, I would like to seize the moment to show some appreciation to our team. It’s our team that is constantly working in the background, even though we only see a small fraction of it. It’s our team that is constantly delivering on their promises and pushing even harder afterwards. Its a team like ours other projects are craving for and that’s what I’m thankful about. Thank you Gomez, Nemecu, Skipsq and all the other team members for your work effort and for making this happen for all of us. With all you have done so far, I can say with confidence that I trust your vision for this project and your strategy for the future. You guys have the skills, the professionalism, the work ethic and the mindset to make Angry Boars a success and as a community member I’m willing to do everything to help you achieve this goal. Because together we will achieve greatness. And believe me when I say that 2022 is our year. 2022 is the year of Angry Boars. 2022 is the year in which people won’t be able to ignore us any longer. Because we will scream at them. They won’t have any other chance than to notice us. We will be a force within the NFT space and a role model for any project that comes after us. Because we will have the key to success. We will have everything others are looking for. So let’s put in the effort and make this happen. BOARGANG FOR LIFE BABY!
