Diversity Tickets

We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming experience for all participants.

This year, we offer again scholarships in the form of diversity tickets (free or reduced price) as well as travel scholarships. We don’t cover travel expenses and accommodation expenses. We will focus our efforts on the local community (focusing first within the EU), so we highly encourage students and other diverse applicants to apply for scholarships. If you want to attend AngularCamp but are worried it might be a financial burden, please take time to fill out the application form and tell us why you want to join and how the scholarship would benefit both the event and your work (or studies).

What Does an Awarded Diversity Ticket Include?

Each award is for one event ticket, which includes:

  • admission to this year’s AngularCamp
  • session days of the event (July 6 & 7, 2017),
  • and admission to any other activities organized for the attendees, speakers, partners and staff.

How to Apply?

If you would like to apply, fill out our easy question application before 15 June 2017.

Applicant details and submission information will be shared exclusively with AngularCamp organizers. Diversity Ticket Sponsors will not have access to applicant information.

How Are Winners Determined?

A limited number of tickets will be made available. Each application will be thoroughly vetted to ensure it satisfies all program requirements before being added to a pool. One submission per applicant is sufficient to maintain eligibility for each award. The organisers’ decision is final and cannot be appealed. Free tickets given and discounted tickets are limited in number.

How anyone can help

You can start with spreading the word, sharing this post both on social media, but also any communities you might know that would benefit from.
Our ticketing page has an option to make a donation or sponsorship to help pay for the diversity fund.

This fund will be the sole support of AngularCamp’s 2017 Diversity Ticket Program. Your consideration, and contribution to helping our creative community grow and evolve will be recognized.

We’re looking for as well for various organizations to provide access to relevant groups. If your group or organization would like to be included in this program, please contact us.

Diversity Sponsors’ company logos will be added to our Sponsors section page, and will receive special recognition during the event. We will happily give additional recognition to any company or individual who donates over € 200.

We believe that a more diverse crowd makes for a better event and community. If you agree, we invite you to become a Diversity Supporter.

Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff at AngularCamp are required to agree to the Code of Conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
