Never did it occur to me,that writing on an issue, that is almost as burning as it can be,would bore you as much as it did .Indeed,so incipient that I poured many hours , should I or shouldn’t i,not least that ,it invokes some org,that are dull squibs, in best possible sense.

No less five years short of half a century ago,a genocide so brazenly befell in erstwhile east Pakistan,partook by Pakistan military that, of which the world at large has been mostly oblivious as though, people who were murdered during that process ,were not human at all,humanoid at best!!!!.That’s the depressant attitude. And their lives didn’t matter then,neither they do now whatsoever.What’s count is the lives of those ogres!! We are discussing upon a fight,the bloody freedom struggle that took place,in 1971,across erstwhile east Pakistan. No less than 3 million people were killed, women raped, properties destroyed. On top of that, a lingering aftereffect that so onerously convoluted the history of the newly born country. Anyone can do a Google research on line oover that topic. Still that didn’t matter either!!.Otherwise so called organizations that always carry nice labels as much as bad reputation, surviving on tax payers’ hard earned money, wouldn’t have come forward as if redeemers,as though bulbs of hyacinth . There is a prevalent sense that those organizations are sold out to some lobbies, having no clear proof is never a ruse not to believe those heresies, for these human right booths got really sullied track record over the years.We have amnesty international, we have human right watch organization, just to name a few ,amidst the herd.Do their voice count or any more relevant??Have their rubble rousing voices ever solved any global genocide, be it in Ruanda, be it in South Sudan,be it in Syria?? Hardly so.Few years back Bangladesh government set up a tribunal as per judicial norms of the land that the incumbent party had declared in its election manifesto & citizens did vote for it.So not carrying out, the promise, could have been treated as treacherous, no less. Albeit ICT was never out of flaws .Remembering this fact,it will be out of tenet as well as gross mistake to consider that ,the heinous crimes that were committed by those war criminals deserved lesser punishment than that what has just been meted out to them.Every human life is invaluable, so in that scenerio, whether capital punishment is justified or not,that’s long debate that invariably alludes to recent ruckus that erupted all across India regarding the 1992 Mumbai terrorist attack verdict given still USA,has the highest number of capital punishment being carried out,following it,is Saudi Kingdom, that still preaches public lashing, cutting limbs,so on. It’s pertinent to mention that ,during the course of last 44 years ,post war chapter, those miscreants never had that sacred urge nor any graciousness to confess the mistake they committed ,as well as never showed any empathy towards those effected. No,not a single time, it has occurred.On contrary, umpteenth times, they expressed their impudence all before media. Of course, Nuremberg trial was a great example how to deal with war criminals ,that Bangladesh government has followed diligently. And that’s a pioneering act,no less.

For the freedom loving people,those convicted persons who enjoyed impunity over the years, were villains ,therefore remained as such until their death. I had a unique opportunity to be apprised of gruesome deeds by one of the hanged thus checking out the veracity ,those stacks are no short of legendary. The war criminals stood against the course of time in 1971,and they were the filths of a nation. So the comeuppance they received is justifiable.Last but not least, what is regrettable as well as regressive to watch those sanctimonious human rights booths to keep forward to the party and shake the hands of behemoths who long been forsaken by a nation as evident by having no umbrage reported across the country in support of them .Again, it’s hardly surprising, given the track record of those human right booths that have anything to do recently other than just issued those obsolete,irrelevant bulletins,parroting those diatribes , that intrinsically and appropriately means,”bullet-in”not out that sums up what all these got.
