Religion Divides Us, But Spirituality Unites.

“If anyone thinks himself to be religious (piously observant of the external duties of his faith) and does not bridle his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person’s religious service is worthless (futile, barren).” James‬ ‭1:26‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Growing up in Africa, under the religious guidance of a religious Family & society, one would have thought that perfection was imminent. A Holy transient transition from carnality to immortality would have been the ideal “blessing” in my life but alas, the struggles of pre and post teenage years have all but been a bucket full of joy. In my 2.7decades here on Urantia (Earth), the ONE THING I am most certain of is the fact that religion (being corrupted from ages past by Man) will NOT guarantee your place in Heaven. There are well over 4,000 forms of religion in this world and every single one claims to be the ONLY PATH to eternal bliss in eternity. BREAKING NEWS: Religion is the Number-1 cause of civil unrest and injustice since the days of John The Baptist. So what exactly is the “perfect form of religious worship” that we all need to adhere to in order to live a successful life here on earth?

“External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world.” James‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Are you unspotted from sin and from the world? When last did you genuinely help someone you totally don’t know? If you’re filled with wisdom, listen up; if you aren’t living your life for JESUS, then you’re living a lie.

“Then I fell prostrate at his feet to worship (to pay divine honors) to him, but he [restrained me] and said, Refrain! [You must not do that!] I am [only] another servant with you and your brethren who have [accepted and hold] the testimony borne by Jesus. Worship God! For the substance (essence) of the truth revealed by Jesus is the spirit of all prophecy [the vital breath, the inspiration of all inspired preaching and interpretation of the divine will and purpose, including both mine and yours].” Revelation‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭AMP‬‬
