BLAME SOMEONE FOR MY FAILURES

Meet my friend i have never met.

Blame someone for my failures. Today at 5 am Ugandan time, I woke up, did my reading[a book I won’t share till I’m done with]. Being a quiet night for once in noisy village of wandegeya because I slept very worked out. I played music through the night I didn’t even listen to, not even in my dream about myself grazing cattle on Besigye’s Kasangati Farm. Talking of my good friend that I’ve never met [Read Kizza Besigye] I took a taxi[commuter vans] to the lively, busy, noisy, populated downtown Kampala. Where I call battleground of Ugandans against Poverty.

I always like taking the front seat for conversation-with-the-driver purpose when he is not helping the conductor to tout on his side. The Taxi old on the inside and parts seemingly falling off, the driver told me “akasajja ke kaleta eno embeera embi” (Museveni is responsible for our bad life). Now this is what Besigye has slowly and unknowingly indoctrinated his followers with, to blame anything in your life on Government. Even the things a person has control over, that Museveni(Government) can’t.

This taxi driver later mentioned “nonya mata g’abaana” a lay saying for Milk hunt for my family, which to me justifies my thought of he has control of what happens in his life not Museveni or Besigye if he ever becomes President. My friend I’ve never met is breeding a generation of thought that he wouldn’t want if he ever becomes President of this pearl of Africa. That would even rise against him because they would think he is a traitor yet Government is not their ultimate solution to own-made problems. I woke up late today and was annoyed about it but I refuse to BLAME SOMEONE FOR MY FAILURES.
