Why we suddenly love colouring books

Great read, Elena. I have also fallen prey to the allure of the colouring book — spending most of my holiday colouring in flowery cats. The reason has to do with a need to feel creative and this societal push for creativity. This is an easy, and structured way to become creative without doing something scary like taking an art class. There is minimal risk and it is very accessible.

I’m going to check out the Gladstone’s collection! Thanks!
