To anyone outside the USA, that first warning, about health insurance, is shocking. In the UK, if you fall off your bike, you will be treated at a hospital for free, no matter what treatment you need. It would never occur to me to take out health insurance before riding a bike. It’s a shameful indictment of a so-called civilized society that people have to make that calculation when taking a job!
