We’ve lived at a level of conspicuous consumption. Municipal taxes? In my hometown, small town America, there is no one to pay taxes. They are poor and underemployed, with a terrible school system and corrupt politicians. Do you not have any idea how many people in our country don’t have a penny to invest?
