Latvian at KI / Me

A short background of mine for you to (hopefully) get a better picture of my observations and points of view.

Right now I’m a biomedical student at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. It was only a year ago when I finished my dear Riga State Gymnasium No.1.

I come from Latvia, the lovely little European country by the Baltic sea. It’s home to a bit more than 2 million inhabitants. Latvia is one of the greenest countries in the world (2nd highest EPI in 2012) with rich culture heritage and history to share.

As you might have already noticed, I am very fond of my home country, and the 19 years I’ve spent living there have shaped my personality quite a bit.
