RE: Military Justice Review Group

Dear General Counsel

Thanks, for your attention to this matter of the military justice system. I hope this short message can be used as a recommendation to improve the system.

The United States Military Criminal Justice System been violating the civil and human rights of military services members for decades. Due, to an unjust system. That favors rank rather than justice.

There are fundamental problems that leads to a general perception of unfairness in the system as a whole, irrespective of how it may operate in any particular case.

There are many difficulties with the military criminal system as it now exist, both premised on the false belief that they are needed to maintain discipline. As the defenders of the system assert the need for such discipline, they proclaim the US military as the most professional in history.

There should be changes to eliminate the convening authority, acts of military offenses and clarity of SCM.

The CA should be abolished all together due to absolute power.

Military offenses as small as AWOL and insubordination or disobeying orders should not be viewed as criminal and impose punishment as a federal conviction.

A Summary Court Martial should be clarified.

Many service members lives are worst off than it was before they volunteered for the military due to the above.
