A few days ago I decided to start a “Reasons to Live” list. It was inspired by a random internet post that came up after a search for suicidal ideation. Not that I needed too much of a refresher; 5150* for the win.

After deciding to keep it in Evernote for quick reference, another Google search ensued. How to keep it private in a cube farm environment? Turns out you can select text in Evernote, right-click to bring up the context menu, and select Encrypt text! Pick a pass phrase (*which can be numeric PIN by the way), and the text gets hidden. Boom. Now I can ruminate in why I shouldn’t abandon my kids in total privacy.

Oh. And be sure to title the note innocuously.
