I am very afraid

There was a time when I loved you and was scared to admit

There is a time now when I have you

and again I am worried a bit

Because at that time I would have lost you without ever having you

Now that you are mine, I am scared

My journey is going to be a longer one

And I feel afraid

I cannot ask you to hold me every step of the way

to fall or rise with me

I cannot ask you all this

And while I am not really ready to ever give up on you

I will do so

I do not want you to get lost with me.
