Emil is still around doing shows — my husband met him for an interview around two years ago the newspaper he is writing. A real legend.

Sure my colleague understands Swiss German very well, she is just from the other side of the border and her dialect and mine share the same roots. We don’t even have to talk German German to each other. They just tend to look down on us — I don’t care anymore.

I order my beer in many languages if needed: bierre, birra, cerveza, beer, Bier and I am quite fluent in English. I understand French and Italian well enough but am not good at talking cause I never use it — unfortunately. And despite other Swiss people, I am not that shy and really outgoing.
