Paper Alchemy
Jonathan Carroll

I have over 300 unread books (don’t ask it’s my addiction) in a special shelf and sometimes I stand in front of this shelf and take them out of it, open them, smell the pages, press them to my chest, follow the cover photo or whatever is on it with my fingertips and put them back into shelf — full of anticipation when I will finally read them.

All in all I have over 1400 books and there are sure some of them I should finally give away.

I refuse to change to ebook for as long as I can.

There is one other material I like to smell: leather.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
