But first, what is Kindle Direct Publishing?
In short, It’s a site where authors can upload their books, and readers can download them for a fee. Those who publish on this platform earn 70% of every book sold, while the other 30% goes to Amazon. A fairly fair trade in my opinion considering how big the platform is.
So, how do you make money on kindle direct publishing?
There are lots of things you can do. But the topic we will be covering today is coloring books. More specifically children coloring books.
To begin, you’ll need some images. You can either use free commercial images or create your own. Just make sure they’re kid-friendly.
Once that’s done, you’ll need to convert them into line art. This can be done easily with Photoshop filters or a website called pencilsketch.imageonline.co
