Don’t ask for permission, ask for forgiveness..
Or don’t ask for anything. Just get on with it
Most people would think Gary Vaynerchuk way of life is different and groundbreaking, but it’s not. This is not a diss to him or what he represents, furthermore he’s been a motivation to me for at least the last 2 years. I just see a few connections to him and historical figures and ways of life that when followed changes occur.
His codes seem like a mixture of Stoicism, Buddhism, a little bit of the “IDGAF” mentality and of course let’s not overlook that Gary is very good . All of which I follow whole heartedly in the name of change and bettering my life experience.
Now to make the connections…
- He practices gratitude.
- He passes on his knowledge of “how to”.
- He practices letting go of weaknesses and doubling down on strengths, forgetting the past, acting now and planning for the future.
- Best of all he tells all his followers to fuk all the outside noise… focus and work.
Look at what I’ve written above without the fruitful language and you should be able to see connections. This isn’t a new way of thinking the only difference is he’s actually practicing what he’s preaching and showing us the benefits minus the mystical God like characters.
You could be like Gary Vee, Buddha or Jesus. Practice what you preach, stop caring about what others think of you and get the changes you want from life. Lastly, stop waiting for someone to give you permission. It’s a weak way to live, it’s limiting and will eventually leave you bitter.
