You do not believe in Free Speech

You believe that you have the right to criticize your government. You believe that you should have the right to offer feedback, criticize, insult, mock or lampoon those people who have power over your life, both in politics and other areas of life.

And you would be right. Having the right to use speech to offset the power that others have over you is an extremely healthy ethical principle. And it is obviously an indispensable political principle of democracy — if you can vote for a leader but then cannot lampoon them, you do not live in a democracy.
