It’s a good idea to plastic weld these parts (scope clamps) for strength. You can use plastic cement, but I often just use a little acetone.


It’s important not to use too much acetone as it can melt your abs prop (it also assumes your ee3 was printed in ABS) so a cotton tip is usually a good applicator.

It’s also often necessary to clamp the scope clamps while the glue sets. This will ensure a strong bond.
