iOS 12 is designed to make your iPhone and iPad experience even faster, more responsive and more delightful. Here are some exciting new features and improvements coming to the world’s most advanced mobile operating system.
1. Performance
Whether you’re using your iPhone or iPad, iOS has been enhanced for a faster and more responsive experience all around. Things you do all the time, like launching Camera and typing with the keyboard, happen faster than ever. And there are even more significant improvements when you’re doing a lot on your device at once. These enhancements improve performance on all supported devices, going all the way back to iPhone 5s and iPad Air.

2. Group FaceTime
FaceTime is getting a huge upgrade in iOS 12 with a new feature called Group FaceTime, which enables up to 32 iPhone, iPad and Mac owners to participate in a video conference call simultaneously.
3. Memoji
Memoji work just like Animoji, so the animated version of you will mimic your face as you look at the screen. You can record yourself, with audio, and send the clips out to friends and family. It’s a lot of fun, so try it.
4. Screen Time
Screen Time creates detailed daily and weekly Activity Reports that show the total time a person spends in each app they use, their usage across categories of apps, how many notifications they receive and how often they pick up their iPhone or iPad.
By understanding how they’re interacting with their iOS devices, people can take control of how much time they spend in a particular app, website or category of apps. The App Limits feature allows people to set a specific amount of time to be in an app, and a notification will display when a time limit is about to expire.
5. Notifications
iOS 12 also introduces Grouped Notifications, making it easier to view and manage multiple notifications at once. This means you can batch them all together, manage what apps can alert you right from each notification and more.
6. Measure app
Tape measures are one of those things that you never seem to be able to find when you need it. Fortunately, it’s likely that you have your phone somewhere near you these days, and now Apple is making it incredibly simple to use it for measurements in iOS 12 .This lets you get estimates for measurements the length of a couch in a room, for example all using your iPhone’s camera.
