This week we’re not really flying to Egypt, nor cruising on the Nil river, instead we’re diving into Ramses Exchange, a community owned, liquidity layer for Arbitrum.
What is Ramses Exchange ?
Inspired by Andre Cronje’s Solidly, Ramses is a ve(3,3) All in one DEX with a novel approach on the voting-escrow model.
The RAM model rewards long-term supporters, and aligns stakeholders interests by incentivizing fee generation.
Swap
Just Like Uniswap or Sushiswap, you can use Ramses to swap tokens on Arbitrum.
Enjoy deep liquidity, low fees, and near 0 slippage when swapping correlated assets.
Farm
Deposit Liquidity to Ramses to start farming $RAM.
A wide variety of pools are available, and APRs are very attractive.

Lock RAM to Boost your rewards
Let’s say you deposited some WETH/ARB Liquidity into Ramses, great, you are now earning $RAM emissions.
You have the option to Lock/Vest your RAM rewards for up to 4 years by turning them into veRAM.
The Longer your Vesting period, the more veRAM you’ll get.
The More veRAM you have, the more you can boost your Farming APR.
Your locked positions are represented as an NFT that will become tradable in the future.(Planned)
veRAM holders are also getting Rebases resulting in an increase of their veRAM Holdings over time.
Vote
Once a week, you can use your veRAM to vote and redirect RAM emissions to your desired pools.
The Bigger your veRAM weight, the more impact you’ll have on redirecting the protocol’s RAM emissions.
Voting allows you to earn a portion of the fees accumulated by the pool you’re voting for.
Liquidity providers aren’t directly paid fees like Uni / Sushiswap but instead, 100% of the accumulated swap fees are shared with veRAM voters.
Bribes
Besides swap fees, veRAM voters also have the opportunity to earn a portion of the available Bribes.
Bribes are offered by protocols / projects or larger players as an incentive to boost their pool’s RAM emission and attract more Liquidity providers.
What’s next for Ramses Exchange ?
Ramses V2
The team is currently working on UX/UI improvements and Ramses V2 is getting close to release.
You can expect a faster, more efficient interface in the upcoming weeks.
Ramses Launchpad
The Ramses Launchpad was just announced.
It will help promising partners and protocols bootstrap liquidity and scale with capital efficiency.
We can expect veRAM holders to get access to launchpad sales.
