Kurt Vonnegut Walks Into a Bar

I don’t know much about Terry McDonell but if Kurt would appear with him at a coven of writers at the drop of a hat I am in awe. Vonnegut is our (at least my) modern day Samuel Clemens. I have had the pleasure of attending two of his lectures and have pretty much read everything he has ever written. As a boy I came to him because of the Sci-Fi angle but stayed because of the wit and wisdom. He got pretty cranky in his later years but never lost his wit. I have yet to find anyone to take his place.
