Sharing the guidelines of Making the first steps toward your career with my classmate

For sharing the guidelines I chose Anwar Iqbal And Waleed Mughal. They are my roommates. We spent all of our time together. In this week I talked him about my home work of Amal and asked him to listen to my guidelines and give me his opinion after listening to me. In the start he was refusing but I agreed him. At last I share 6 guidelines with him which are:

1. Find your passion and align it with your career

2. Decisions are very unique to each person, what’s right for one isn’t right for the other

3. Own your decisions: Don’t let other people make decisions for you and don’t blame anyone else

4. Do an internship before pursuing a higher degree to confirm if you like that field/industry

5. Don’t do PhD if you want to be an entrepreneur or work in corporate sector

6. Spend at least one year in your first job

After the discussion they was in right of doing job after BSc Engineering and not to do MSc or Phd. they were giving there opinions . They was saying that own business is much better than getting a job at any organization.

About no 4. doing internship before MS . There opinion is many students have lose the capacity of study after gap. so chose according to your mind set

Over all it was a great experience of giving advice and sharing thoughtful points with each other. I have learnt a lot and able to think more on such a discussion with friends.
