70s Jazz Discographies

A very nice little donation came in today — about 1800 items. Now we thought they were all Big Band and Jazz LPs, but there were also boxes of CDs, 78s, cassettes and discographies. So here’s a sample of these 1970s era, staple bound books from the more than 50 that were dropped off.

They’re actually ‘sessionographies’ organized around when a song was recorded and where that version appears on disc. We love these focused labors of love, often quite complete and good sources of information. This batch mostly published by Joyce Music and Jazz Discographies Unlimited and nice to have the one signed by Les Brown and some of the boys in the band.
