“Spiritual Gifts” (My First Journal)

INTRODUCTION:

Many people spend their time and money for materialistic things they want. what they want is to have new things and buy it even it cost too much, but there is a things that money cannot buy, because it is sacred and there’s no value here on earth. yes the gold metallic theca has a price but it is not about the metal, but it is about the thing fragment encased in the round metal. A sacred fragment from a Blesseds or Saints (Parts of their body such as like ‘Ex Capillis’(from the Hair), ‘Ex Ossibus’ (from the Bone), ‘Ex Corpore’ (from the flesh), and etc.), they were classified as First Class Relics and it was given only in a church and sometimes to an individual that will use it for public veneration and for the benefit of the whole community. and the things they were used when they are alive are classified as Second Class Relics such as like (‘Ex Indumentis’ (from the clothing), included the things that they were personally owned or has contact to them. this relics are not only for the benefit of the physical but also to the spiritual and faith of the person.

FIRST PARAGRAPH:

Last Thursday i have received the sacred relic of Blessed Maria Repetto (Ex Ossibus, from the bones), and (‘Ex Indumentis’ from the cloth of Saint Anna Schaeffer that she has stitched it when she was alive.) I was surprised about it because i do not expect that it will arrived early about two to three weeks from different countries, the sacred relic of Blessed Maria Repetto was from the Sisters of the Our Lady of Refuge in Genova Italy, and the sacred relic of Saint Anna Schaeffer was from the Parish were Saint Anna’s remains are there in Mindelstetten Germany.

SECOND PARAGRAPH:

I am happy because i received these sacred things because i know that it will help me to strengthen my faith and be more closer to God. and i can start this apostolate to diffuse their works and life to our community especially to our prayergroup, and also to my friends. St. Anna Schaffer was born in Mindelstetten Germany in the year 1882 and she was from a poor family her father was a carpenter, she grows healthy and has a big faith to God especially to the Blessed Sacrament in the Tabernacle, but in the age of 16 she heard a voice that she will suffer before she turn at the age of 20. and yes the vision of her was true before she turned 20. When she was performing her household chores in the laundry of the forester’s lodge in Stammham near Ingolstadt, she suffered the tragic accident which would cause her great suffering until the day she died. the stovepipe over the water boiler had come loose from the wall, and Anna wanted to prevent any damage. In the process she slipped and both legs slid into the boiler filled with boiling lye above her knees. and she was the Patron Saint of the Poor, the sick, and suffering.

THIRD PARAGRAPH:

And Blessed Maria Repetto was an Italian nun born in Voltaggio, Alessandria,Kingdom of Sardinia. again because of God’s will, yesterday night i received a message from my gmail, about the sacred relic of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich (Anna Katherina Emmerick) and i was surprised that they grant my request to have a second class relic of her and they told me that they will send it right now, it takes a few weeks or one month to receive it, and i can’t wait because there are two sacred relics from Germany. the relic of Blessed Maria Katharina Kasper and Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, and the relic of Blessed Barbara Maix from Porto Alegre Brazil.

CONCLUSION:

Sacred relics are the manifestation of God’s love to us, because it tells and proves that there are saints and blesseds exists that we need to follow their examples, to live in God’s will and lived by the Spiritual and not in a Materialistic world to gain the eternal life. as Jesus said, (“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” ~Matthew 6:24 ) ( “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” ~Matthew 6:19–21).
