Sell Yourself
I spent 3 months applying to jobs after a coding bootcamp. Here’s what I learned.

One of the things that helped me the most in getting a job as a developer was my experience in commissioned sales. One of the things I was taught in that job boils down to “people want you to tell them what to think”. We know that we’re not great at forming opinions on short notice so when you tell them “It sounds like we’re a perfect fit for each other,” they believe you. Hand on my heart: when I talked to recruiters and they’d say might want to interview me (or similar) I would answer “Of course, I’m awesome!” I. Told. People. I’m. Awesome. And it worked.
