The Prayerless Follower

By Armen M.

Ps: I will be writing my weekly articles again. I missed it. I think, it was a refreshment to not write for so long. Every friday I will publish a new article.

Oh boy, it’s been a bumby ride. I’ve gone through so many things for the past months. Some good and some really bad. But that doesn’t matter much, yet. This week I want to talk about prayerlessness. If there’s no conversation between you and God, then something is wrong. I have been through that.

I stopped talking to God. That was the worst thing I could ever do. My decisions became hasty. I didn’t really know what direction I was going. It was all dark. Yet, I pretended to be in the light. Completely lost, you can say. Without prayer we miss every little joy on our path. Every person we come across that might be the key to the next step. Whatever. We miss everything. Unless, you don’t know God. I’m talking about a follower of Christ, who isn’t praying.

Self-centered activities start to pop up and you are crafting your own life without any meaning. That’s the most empty thing a human can do. It won’t last long. Read what the scripture tells.

“1 Thessalonians 5:16–18
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

The conversation with God should never end. During your day, during the night and every second. A conversation is not always with words, but also with your actions. Don’t stop praying. If you do, you will become a soul-dead-walking-around.

Start talking to God again.
He will meet you after a while.

The best is yet to come,

Armen M.
