You do realise that, in the real world of online dating, the majority of encounters are sane and reasonable? Your perception has perhaps been affected by, ironically, the rest of the Internet, which is teeming with stories about perverted men attempting to hit on women.

Is it not reasonable for a woman to make use of the Internet, and a dating site, to have a go at finding herself a partner? And is it not further reasonable to do so with an expectation that she doesn’t get harassed? The wording of this article is a jab at that expectation. It’s not good.
