Born in 1974 in London to Caribbean parents, Stephen Wiltshire is a British architectural artist, most known for his ability to draw landscapes such as cities from memory just by looking at them once.

Being diagnosed with savant syndrome at the age of 3, Stephen expressed his interest in drawing on the first day at Queensmill School in London. His drawing ideas at that time were simple: animals, cars, and anything familiar a child could see and perceive.

At age of seven, he became fascinated by the landscape of the London buildings. Her older sister would take him to the home of a school friend who lived on the 14th floor of an apartment building so that he could have a more marveling view of the city.
