Our joint venture with Chinese partner “同済堂”, will conduct health checkups and cancer tests using micro blood sampling in China.

The population of China is about 1.4 billion people, but it is said that there are 400 million or 600 million more people who are not registered to the government. However, there are very few health examination facilities in the population ratio, and it is said that only about 30% of people have regular health examinations.

We will offer Japanese medical examination technology using micro blood sampling in China through our joint venture company. 13 items can be tested with one drop of blood.

In addition, a special liquid retention mechanism developed in Japan makes it possible to send a drop of blood sample to the laboratory by mail with little concern about the environment such as temperature and humidity.

This technology makes it possible to provide blood testing services to all citizens distributed over a vast country at low cost. Inspection results can be confirmed on a smartphone via the Internet, and payment is made using electronic payments widely used in China, such as Wechat Pay.

By producing test kits locally as much as possible, we plan to offer a price at around 30 USD per time.

In addition, we provide cancer testing using microRNA, which has been advanced in Japan. In China, the number of cancer patients is increasing due to air pollution such as PM2.5 and soil pollution from industrial wastewater. However, it is the same situation as the above-mentioned health checkup, and many people are not receiving a proper examination.

We provide Japanese cancer testing technology to China through our joint venture company. This technology, like a medical examination, can test 13 types of cancer with a single drop of blood with high accuracy.

This technique can detect 1.5mm cancer with approximately 85% accuracy.
The detection rate of 1 cm cancer in the best hospital in Beijing is said to be 65%, so you can see how accurate this test is.

The price of this mail cancer test will be in the latter half of the 100 USD. It is extremely inexpensive and can spread cancer tests throughout the country.

The health check by micro blood sampling and the cancer test by micro blood sampling will be put on the market in the second half of 2020 after a preparatory period. The sales target for 2021 is RMB300 million (approximately 45 million USD). This is a low value because it must be a dominant development due to the preparation of the inspection center. After that, we will develop a dominant nationwide and aim for RMB50 billion (approximately 7.5 billion USD) per year by 2031.

In addition, as soon as the Chinese government’s laws on virtual currency are enacted, purchases with ASCA tokens and discount sales to ASCA token holders are planned. Also, ASCA token holders will be able to get health information inferred from numerical results. Furthermore, we provide a mechanism that allows users to mine ASCA tokens by registering lifestyle information such as their own diet / exercise information to the health app. We analyze and accumulate correlations between lifestyle and diseases by analyzing test results and user lifestyle data.
