We Accumulate Big Data such as Medical Records and Purchase History in Blockchain
The joint venture company with our Chinese partner “同済堂” will accumulate the following data in blockchain; the purchase history of supplement sales, nutrition drink sales and bio-water sales, as well as data on health examinations and cancer tests using micro blood sampling tests. The company will use them as big data.
The result of the health checkup and the cancer test by using the micro blood sampling test developed by the joint venture company will be notified to the users via the smartphone app. These medical records are stored semi-permanently until the user deletes them arbitrarily, and they can be used at anytime and anywhere as long as the user has an internet connection even outside of China. This allows users to use their own medical records when needed, even when traveling, for example, when visiting a hospital on a trip.
In addition, this smartphone app is equipped with a function linked to a pedometer, and it is possible to analyze the correlation between the number of steps and diabetes indicators such as Hba1c. Furthermore, the health behavior mining function is installed. This is a function to mine ASCA tokens to users who have performed healthy behaviors such as walking a certain number of steps a day or receiving medical examinations. As a result, users will be motived to take more active health actions, which will contribute to health promotion.
Also, we analyze the correlation between the purchase history of supplements and energy drinks sold by us in China (mainly online shopping) and medical records of our medical examinations and cancer tests using our micro blood sampling. We utilize theses evidence as data. For example, analysis of changes in blood glucose level of people who purchased drinks that has the ability to lower blood glucose levels.
We store this data in our own blockchain to ensure authenticity and safety. Indeed, blockchain is the most suitable technology for storing this data. This big data will be provided to related fields such as pharmaceuticals and medical care in compliance with the laws of personal information protection in each country.
In the future, as soon as laws and regulations concerning cryptocurrency are enacted by the Chinese government, when providing such data, it will be mandatory for companies to keep ASCA tokens as deposits when receiving data, and payment of data provision fees with ASCA tokens will be possible as well.
In addition to health behavior mining, users can enjoy the benefits of providing data, such as being able to obtain ASCA token when they consent to the provision of the above data to third parties. This is a mechanism in which a certain percentage of the data provision fee is divided by the number of users each time data is provided.
