You’re Probably a Garbage Investment.

Standing out and giving an effort to be “better” than the rest seems impossible to most. There are a “lucky” few who win, and for the rest, it just seems like they’re running a hamster wheel chasing a dead end… in fact, that’s exactly what they’re doing.
Nobody higher up than you wants to be bothered by you. To be honest, most of the time you’re extremely annoying; because while you’re trying to reach them, they’re way too busy trying to reach a level above them. How can you prove to them that you ARE either above them or going to get them there?
GIVE THEM INSURANCE ON THE INVESTMENT. That’s your pitch.
The reason you can’t move anywhere and find yourself in the same place every single day is because 1. you don’t have a KILLER PITCH, and 2. you overpromise and under deliver… Garbage.

You need to create a simple sentence that proves the insurance, the investment. For me, it changes depending on who I speak to and what I’m speaking to them for; however, the sentence shows that 1. I will be a return on investment for them and bring them more than they will ever have to give me, and 2. they will see results without feeling any annoying weight. Most people don’t get hired or even their foot in the door around their business industry because it requires giving time away, but if you can do the work on your own and allow them to feel weightless value, how can they not say yes?
Nobody, and I truly mean it… NOBODY cares about what you’ve done, they only care about what you’re doing NOW and what you will bring as an investment. If you mention what you’ve done, follow the sentence with a benefit.
The biggest part to all of this is walking the talk. The talk sounds nice, but make it tangible. When I was first getting my writing and voice out there, I didn’t ask people to help me out because I was a ‘beginner,’ I wrote them several articles and emailed it to them. Now THAT is weightless value.
They didn’t have to waste their time emailing me, going back and forth, telling me what they need… nothing. It was done without them asking and actually SAVED them time… that’s the return on investment I’m talking about.
People like this are RARE, which is why most people are simply broke and stay broke for the rest of their lives. If you’re not an investment, move out of the way — you’re just noise.
