Universal Basic Income — The Foundation of a Technically Advanced Society
Nicole Sallak Anderson

You are totally right on. This ‘is’ the future, although there may be two worlds living against each other if your scenario comes alive. To address your $30k number issue, I suggest you use the ‘livable wage’ model for determining the number. See http://livingwage.mit.edu/ . By the way, there are already countries who are experimenting with this model. I’ll bet they find out that there is less stress, more ‘useful’ and ‘meaningful’ productivity (i.e. a reduction in the making of useless widgets just to make a buck), less crime, more humanity and social support for each other … on and on. Now the question is: HOW TO MAKE THIS A VIRAL MOVEMENT?! Anyone got suggestions, ideas, resources to make it happen?
