I silenced heaven
I silenced heaven on my way out of this man-made paradise. I hadn’t known I could be so ambitious but I opened up with unsightly truth to what it means to be on fire. Listen to me, for once. I fear no devil but the devil in my girl’s eye. An iris the shape of a name. I silenced heaven when I thought there is no hell. I silenced any hope of being more than a complex being waiting to decay. What a word, decay. Like the sun has no honour in doing, but left, as a privilege for that fruit you left to rot in the fridge…and your body of course.
