A narcissist is someone who excessively admires and loves themselves to the point where they become obsessed with their own appearance and ignore everyone else around them. There are different types of narcissists, but one thing that all narcissists have in common is that they will eventually come back. Here’s why.

Narcissists crave attention and validation. They need to be the center of attention at all times and will go to great lengths to get it. One of the ways they do this is by seeking out people who they know will give them the attention they crave. This is why narcissists often gravitate towards people who are codependent or have low self-esteem. Codependent people are usually very giving and put the needs of others before their own. Low self-esteem individuals tend to idolize those who they perceive to be better than them in some way. Narcissists know how to take advantage of these people and use them for their own gain.

Another reason narcissists come back is because they get a “high” from the drama they create. Narcissists thrive on chaos and drama because it provides them with a constant supply of attention and validation. They enjoy watching the people around them react to the things they do and say. This is why you’ll often see a narcissist starting or stirring up arguments for no apparent reason. It’s all part of their sick game.

Finally, narcissists come back because they know that eventually their victim will forgive them. No matter how many times a narcissist hurts someone, their victim will always take them back because they believe that the narcissist will change someday. Unfortunately, this is never the case. A leopard can’t change its spots, and a narcissist can’t change their true nature. If you’ve been victimized by a narcissist, it’s important to realize that there is no hope for change and move on with your life without them in it.

This cycle of abuse can be damaging and difficult to break free from. But it is important to remember that you are not responsible for the narcissistic abuse; the narcissist is. You deserve to be in a healthy, loving relationship where you are respected and treated equally. Do not let the narcissist convince you otherwise.

If you find yourself in a situation where a narcissist is trying to come back into your life, it is important to remember that you are not obligated to them in any way. You have the right to protect yourself from further abuse. There is help available if you find yourself struggling to break free from this cycle; reach out to a therapist or counselor who can support you as you take steps to protect yourself and build a healthy future.
