My long standing friend and colleague lives in Bulgaria. We talk weekly and I have the benefit of his take on the war. He speaks Russian and has family and friends in Ukraine and Russia. He is my source. He says we are getting a lot of chaff here.

The gist is there a longer-term climate issue at play with Ukraine wheat. And, no surprise, there are some major global agribusiness players behind the scenes. I will reach out to him and see what links he may have.
