I really really liked this article.

I have been undergoing a personal test to see if the skill of multitasking can be grown, or learned. I am terrible at it. I would suggest that I am getting better, but I have no way to predict the context in which my brain is functional in more than one capacity at a time. It’s almost random. One second I’m really struggling to multi-focus (a pseudonym I made up instead of multi-task which notes connotation for what you are physically doing with your hands), the next second, I have plenty of capacity to listen to 3 conversations at once while browsing for a TV show to watch with one headphone in listening to Radiolab.

Maybe it‘s relative to diet?
