Battle Between Red and Blue
The time is here for elections to choose a leader for the state of Oregon. In District 3, two candidates running for the same position to be on the Oregon State Senate. The conservative cadidate is Dave Dotterer, Proposal Manager of SAIC(Science Applications International Corporations). The democratic candidate is Alan Bates, and currently serves as Deputy Major Leader.

Both candidates have great campaign themes which with both give them points in the upcoming election. Dotterer is running for the senate position to improve education, protecting personal freedoms, provide needed leadership, demanding fiscal responsibility, and to revitalize job growth in the private sector. These campaign themes are great for a senate position and also he has a great advantage of being a great leader. Dotterer was in the army and the army is great when it comes to leadership and being a great people person.
Alan Bates has already gotten elected for senate in 2010 so he may have that advantage over Dotterer but he as well has good campaign themes. Bates wants to fight the seniors, protecting the environment, investing in schools, creating jobs, to work for the better healthcare, and demand accountability and transparency. Bates wanting to fight for the senior citizens which is important for seniors don’t have a voice to fight for them as Dotterer wants to get a better education for students which is also important.
This should be a great election for both candidates sound great and Oregon should have a great leader whoever wins.
