Free Shakespeare in Griffith Park? Yes, please!

Independent Shakespeare Co. is offering free Shakespeare in Griffith Park again this summer!

Currently playing: Romeo and Juliet — all of the star-crossed lovers’ angst, sword fighting and witty prose you remember with a punk twist!

Quick Tips:

  • Show starts @ 7, but get there at least an hour early to park (spaces can be hard to find. Don’t park along red curbs, you WILL get ticketed!) and stake out a good spot on the grass
  • Lawn chairs, blankets and snakes are a must! It will get chilly as it gets dark, so extra blankets for warmth are definitely a good idea
  • Concessions are available: cupcakes, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, etc!

Next up: Much Ado about Nothing
