Devcon IV

Devcon is well under way and most of the Forecast Foundation can be spotted roaming the halls. Our very own Tom Haile gave a talk earlier in the week at DeFi on ‘Making Dapps Feel Less Dappy”. Watch below:

Additionally, Scott Bigelow will be giving a talk on Friday morning (10:35am) in the main hall on the challenges of shipping with the current Web3infrastructure. If you’re at Devcon, you won’t want to miss this one!

Veil Updates

Everyone is now free to register for Veil’s alpha without an invitation code. Go sign up at https://kovan.veil.market/register. Also, they have been working on some cool new features such as a leaderboard for the best performers, further buidling on the user profile feature, and data feeds for quick resolution of markets. Follow the link to hear from them.

Reminder, the Forecast Foundation has no role in the operation of markets, trades or actions created or performed on the Augur protocol, nor does it have the ability to censor, restrict, control, modify, change, revoke, terminate or make any changes to markets created on the Augur protocol. The Forecast Foundation has no more control over the Augur protocol than anyone else using Ethereum.

Thus, we do not seek to advise others on how to use the protocol. We encourage those in the community that are well educated on Augur to pay it forward and share their ideas for best practices, tips, fixes and etc with the larger community via Twitter, Reddit, Discord, Github and other community channels. For more information regarding the role of the Forecast Foundation, checkout the FAQ.

Cheers,

The Forecast Foundation OU
