High Moral Ground

The only reason Lyndon Johnson signed civil rights bills into law was because TV was showing real equality in civil rights in Russia 🇷🇺 and in Europe and the US didn’t want to give Russia a civil rights stick to beat them with. The US wanted to retain the high moral ground and perpetrate the fiction of American political hyperbole.

Little Hans promised to uphold the constitution in fine poetic words when he took his oath at the inauguration.
