はじめまして(Nice to meet you)

Hello Medium, the internet, and whoever else I forgot. My name is Adrian Morales and I'm currently studying abroad in Japan during the summer. I'm a senior at Florida International University(FIU, for short) and I'm majoring in Anthropology and East Asian Studies with a focus on Japan. My program which is a joint program between Ritsumeikan University and FIU only lasts four weeks and thanks to the Gilman Scholarship, I've been given the opportunity to come to Japan and experience it myself. From now on, my posts will be about the various facets of Japanese culture that I get to experience through my study abroad program and my own adventures. Many times, the posts will be about various activities I did with the program. Other times, my own exploration of this beautiful place that I get to live in for a month. I hope through this blog that I will get people more interested in Japanese culture and in study abroad as a valuable experience for college students.
