I just wanted to say thanks for just being Danah, I really enjoy reading your work!
Also wanted to add that if you think of it, the construct of the legal system and the judiciary is actually the perfect hack in my opinion. Only caveat is that it’s slow, outdated — in danger of being “misused” through technology — and most of all, rarely looks back at old law to undo them as society moves on and new interpretations might miss their initial mark, if not do worse. Having said that, even legal systems differ greatly, comparing common law in your land with European civil law, remains a subject for comparison in terms of fairness and efficiency.
