John Delvore, there are clearly things that some men tend to do that annoy you. By focussing on that and wanting it to be different you have ended up generalised contempt for the whole gender. That says as much about you as about men. I can relate to some extent. I grew up in New Zealand, not enjoying the rugby racing and beer culture, not being part of the male culture, but that does not mean I have insights into what is required to “fix” it. And from this article, I don’t see any insights in the male experience at all. You have fallen prey to the culture of shallow understanding of male behaviour that is too quick to ascribe boorishness, misogyny and patriarchy to people that it is not interested in better understanding.
