Knowing who you are in Christ !
First things first GOD LOVES YOU!!!!!!!! no matter what HE LOVES YOU!!!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
GOD’S LOVE IS… indestructible, compassionate, constant, immeasurable, a gift, never ending, unconditional, holy, a blessing, unchangeable, powerful, indescribable, righteous, sweet, refreshing, fulfilling, gracious… and the list continues. God’s love is made possible through Jesus (John 1:14–18). God is love, and his love never fails.
I mean the greatest commandment is LOVE! So if the greatest commandment is LOVE why wouldn’t Jesus our SAVIOUR!!! love us? Why would He contradict himself? I’ll wait…but honestly let’s be serious, when God speaks to us he doesn’t stutter neither does he lie. God want’s you to love yourself. Not in a selfish or self-centred way, but in a healthy way that will eventually begin to shine inward as well as outward. He wants you to see the beautiful creation that God Himself took time to create and bring into this world. He want’s you to see what he created. “Let go and Let God” is what I like to say. Allow Him to work in you, open your heart and allow God to work in you today, in fact everyday! Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and saviour. Let God be your guide in EVERY situation, even in the tiniest issue let God. Nothing is to big or to small for God (Jeremiah 32:27). Remember that!
Let God begin to heal the wounds in your life. Let Him in. Receive Him. And although you haven’t reached where you want to be, know that you are on your way and that God is working on you right now, if only you let him. And if you don’t get what you want know and understand that God has a better plan for you then the initial one!It may take some time but just know that God’s timing is the best, know that he hasn't given up on you, know that your breakthrough is near. Just be patient and be firm in the Lord, have faith and know that God will see you through, because he will. I can testify for that!
In order to accomplish this we need to learn who we are in Christ and begin to walk in that and represent Jesus in every situation. Just think what would Jesus do? Believe that God is changing you right now. Study God’s words (look for quality not quantity). Spend time with God, before you leave your house before you do anything pray to God to guide you. Work around your schedule with God. Learn how to follow the Holy Spirit and not your flesh! (Colossians 3:5)
*Prayer*
Oh Lord I want to say thank you, I want to say thank you for giving your only son Jesus Christ to die for us. I want to say thank you Jesus for forgiving me. I know that in Christ I am made right in God. Jesus I accept you as my personal Lord and saviour. I give my life unto you Lord I give myself to you, so you may carry out your wonderful works, so that you will change me and mould to be the way you want me to be. Lord I trust you with all my heart and I believe that you will see me through this till the end. Lord you said in Christ we are made right in God, that we are a new creation. God change my life, so that when I go out of my house Lord, when I’m at work, at home, school, university, in any circumstance I pray that you see me through, so that I may be the best that I can be and to achieve all things that are through you, because you said through you all things are possible. Lord I pray that you give me the Holy Spirit to represent you oh Lord for I am a child of God.
