Authenticity
Authenticity is an essential factor in determining the score of an NFT project. This factor is based on multiple components, such as the social media accounts of the project founders, any previous reputation of team members, and the social media accounts of the project itself. Moreover, the authenticity of the artwork itself is also taken into account. For instance, if the artwork is original, unique, and creative, it will receive a higher score.
Quality
Quality is another important factor and is measured by various aspects, such as the team structure, mint mechanics, project affiliates or partners, roadmap, and content utility. These overall qualities are what determine if an NFT project will have longevity. For example, if the team structure is well organized and efficient, it will receive a higher score. Similarly, if the project is affiliated with well-known and reputable partners, or if the partnerships are well thought out and synergize well with the project, the project will get a boost in its score.
Execution
Execution is measured by various aspects, such as the intellectual property and creative rational, mint price vs collection scale, strategy behind funds received, and the feasibility of the overall project roadmap. This factor is crucial in determining the score of an NFT project as it shows how well the project is planned and executed. For instance, if the project and its team are well equipped and are likely to deliver on the roadmap, it will receive a higher score. Similarly, if the rationale for the mint price is clearly explained and is in line with current industry trends, it will give a better score.

Who assigns the scores?
Authentickators are individuals who are nominated or selected to curate and score projects within the web3 space. They are usually those who have extensive knowledge and experience in the field, and may include successful project founders, collectors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders.
The current structure of the Authentickator process follows a funnel approach, beginning with research and gathering information about a project. Once there is enough information available, the project is presented to the Authentickators for review and measurement against our scorecard/using our scorecard. However, there is an opportunity to expand the process to include more steps, such as involving the community in the review process or conducting a more thorough assessment of the project’s impact on web3.
In addition to their primary responsibility of reviewing and scoring projects, Authentickators also play a crucial role in supporting community development, sharing their knowledge and expertise, and contributing to the overall growth of the web3 ecosystem. They may participate in events, mentorship programs, or other initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration within the industry.

In order to effectively read scores and icons, it is important to understand the meaning behind each color.
A green icon indicates that the project has extremely solid fundamentals, which means that the project is reliable and has a strong foundation.
A grey tick icon suggests that the project has sound fundamentals, but may have some room for improvement.
A grey icon indicates that the project does not have enough supporting information for the Authentickators to make a determination on its fundamentals. It is important to take these scores and icons into consideration when evaluating a project, as they provide valuable insight into the quality and reliability of the project.
