Gratitude Schmatitude

A podcast about Gratitude

Gratitude Schmatitude.

Without really thinking about it, that is often my attitude towards being thankful, and I would guess that many can resonate with me.

Sure we want to be thankful, but often we find ourselves easily forgetting about all that we have.

Its hard to put into words what it means to be grateful and express gratitude. I then think it’s even harder to share how to actually express gratitude. Many have tried, but I believe it only comes from the heart.

Still, its worth it to try, especially on Thanksgiving. At the very least, I will share that I am truly happy to be where I am right at this moment, tucked away in Maine with family for the first time in 3 years.

I am loving it! :)

And by the way, I hope you had a wonderful time with family as well.

If we are truly thankful for something we should let others know, but we need to truly feel it. If we don’t does it really mean anything?

For me, I appreciate some things, and I take others for granted. The fact that I have food, I can walk, and I have the freedom to work from home, is amazing. But, I often don’t express gratitude for this.

I think that even saying a quick prayer is a great form of gratitude, but one that I often forget to do.

How often do we all do this? How often do we wake up and think more about the negative then the positive?

I am a typically happy and positive person, so it’s crazy to think that I tend to be negative at times.

To start off this holiday season my wife and I recorded a podcast on our show Freedom-Cast about how to show gratitude.

You can listen right here on my site.

I hope you have a fantastic rest of your holiday weekend!
