I am a female “Bernie bro”, at least that’s what I’ve been called by Hillary supporters.
I’ve also been told, since last year when I registered as a democrat in NYS *just* to vote for Bernie, that I’m wasting my time, and my vote, on a candidate that didn’t stand a chance.
And this happened loooong before Bernie supporters started telling Hillary supporters the same thing.
Bernie has been said to have no chance of winning the nomination. He began this election process 50/60 points behind. He’s gained a lot of support and closed that gap in a relatively short period of time.
I’ve had Hillary supporters call me stupid for voting for Bernie. Hillary even made the comment that Bernie’s supporters were uneducated and lazy because “they didn’t do their own research”.
Problem with Hilary’s statement, of course, is that Bernie supporters, or Bernie bro’s as we’ve been labeled, have done more research on the candidates pasts than most.
YouTube is a beautiful thing, so is fact check dot com. Memory is also a beautiful thing.
We remember when Mrs. Clinton, who practiced law under the name of Hillary Rodham, represented Thomas Alfred Taylor in a rape case of a 12 year old girl, by saying, in essence, the young girl was “asking for it because she sought out older men.”
Let’s not forget about her selling uranium to foreign governments, landing in Bosnia under alleged sniper fire, and the lives lost in Benghazi, while Mrs Clinton served as secretary of state. Along with the “bad decisions” she made in voting for the Iraq war, voting against DOMA, and approving legislation allowing Remington to manufacture the AR-15, which was used in the Sandy Hook shooting.
So, no, Mrs Clinton does not deserve my vote. She is highly untrustworthy in my opinion, and I refuse to vote for the “lesser of two evils”.
